A body of river water is a distinct and significant part of surface waters such as a river, a river or a canal, a part of a river, a river or a canal, constituting the elementary division of aquatic environments intended to be the unit of assessment of the WFD. The criteria for constructing river water bodies are: - A body of water belongs to a single hydroecoregion; - The dominant fish population based on the fish farming context (Salmoniculture, Cyprinicole, Intermédiaire); - Size class (Strahler confluence row). WFD reporting correspondence: This entity corresponds to the concept of WISE's Surface Water Body Line. Layers shall be disseminated in a format compliant with the SANDRE Data Dictionary of the Water Body Repository, version 1.4.
