Gene expression level was estimated by mapping clean reads without rRNA to the clustered assembly using RSEM (ver. 1.3.0), and was normalized by TMM (trimmed mean of M values) method.<br>All unigenes were aligned using BLAST+ (ver. 2.5.0) against the NCBI’s non-redundant nucleotide (nt) database (downloaded on December 27, 2016), COG (clusters of orthologous groups) database (2003 COGs, 2014 update), and the Swissprot database (downloaded on December 15, 2016) with an E-value cutoff of 10<sup>-5</sup>.<br>
