Quality of grain crop in Finland, 1966 -

Quality of the domestic grain harvest have been studied annually since 1966. On average, 1500 farmers take part in the study by sending crop samples and background information. The quality factors that affect the value of grain in general use in trade and in industry are defined from the samples. Farms for the study are selected randomly from the Rural Business Register kept by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's Information Service Center.
