This study presents a comprehensive analysis of transcriptome data derived from ovary tissue of M. rosenbergii in different maturation stages using Illumina HiSeq. The main aim of this chapter is to identify candidate genes associated with reproduction and ovarian development and to discover differential gene expression from different stages of ovarian development to better understand their functions in the giant freshwater prawn.
