These tables are made available as part of a collaboration between the Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) Program and Timberlane Allergy & Asthma Associates. Timberlane staff count pollen from approximately March to October each year. A summary dataset is provided to the EPHT program each year, which is then analyzed and made available here. High Pollen Count Days Table These values are produced by calculating the percentage of days in a given week of the year that historically fell into the "high" or "very high" National Allergy Bureau categories. This percentage was then multiplied by 7, which yields the number of days in a given week that we expect to have high pollen counts. This table contains the values for each step of this calculation, as well as information about pollen type and week and month of the year. Pollen Annual Table This table contains daily pollen counts for tree, grass, weed, and ragweed pollen types as well as the National Allergy Bureau category that each day falls into for each type. Data are available from 2009-2025. *Note: Due to logistical challenges, pollen monitoring started later than normal in 2024 (April 7). In order to make 2024 data as comparable as possible to other years, older years of data were used to fill in missing data from March and the first week of April 2024. This affects tree pollen only. Daily averages for tree pollen were taken from the 2010-2023 data and filled in to the appropriate dates in 2024.
