The genome sequencing of Zygosporium masonii strain ZH-1

Zygosporium masonii is an ascomycete fungus which against plant pathogenes like Pyricularia oryzae causing rice blast and Colletotrichum orbicular causing anthracnose of cucurbits. The genome assembly of Z. masonii strain ZH-1 will provide a better understanding of the inhibitor machanism of this fungus and may provide resources for identifying new antimicrobial secondary metabolites.
