The project aims to create a new antibiotic to eliminate vancomycin-resistant strains of Enterococcus faecium and / or methicillin and vancomycin-resistant strains of Staphylococcus aureus. The goal will be achieved using a number of methods, including the cultivation of microorganisms detected during the work, purification by chromatography, NMR spectrometry, mass-spectrometry, toxicological studies,DNA sequencing and in vivo assays.
