Shadow Detection and Removal in High Spatial Resolution Imagery - Dataset

The dataset includes high resolution optical images and empirical data used in the research to detect and remove shadows from imagery. Images are from Leica's ADS40 and ADS80 sensors and the Worldview-3 satellite. ADS40 images are 50-cm resolution and capture Woolgoolga, NSW. The single ADS80 image is 10-cm resolution and captures a small part of Kingscliff, NSW. the Worldview-3 images is 1.2 m resolution and captures the Emerald Beach area in NSW. Other data is from a field base study and includes images (ERDAS .img) of shadow from a Canon SLR plus spectral signatures (2500 wavelengths) from a FR Spectroradiometer of the same shadows in Excel format.
