Information of bacterial OTUs and eukaryotic ASVs of water samples from the ice margin to lake along Tsachu Tsangpo and Bochu Tsangpo on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

By analyzing environmental DNA metagenomic and metabarcoding sequencing data of water samples from the ice margin to lake along two endorheic rivers (Tsachu Tsangpo and Bochu Tsangpo) on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, we obtained 2,000 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) of bacteria and 4,871 amplicon sequence variants (ASVs) of eukaryotes (fungi, eukaryotic algae, protozoa, metazoan invertebrates and vertebrates) to examined the alpha and beta diversity and the ecological processes driving community assembly of various taxonomic groups.
