The Yellow River Basin flows through nine provincial-level administrative regions including Qinghai, Sichuan, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan and Shandong. This dataset is a 90-meter resolution digital elevation model (DEM) of the Yellow River Basin, with the data format being ESRI-Grid, acquired in 2000, and the total data volume is 341 MB. It can be used for extracting topographic factors, delineating watershed boundaries and conducting hydrological modeling for the Yellow River Basin. The dataset originates from the National Key Basic Research Project titled "Soil Erosion Processes and Regulation Research in Major Water Erosion Areas of China".
