Metatranscriptomics and metabolomics depicting the regulation of energy metabolism and immune activity by active ratio of Bacteroidetes/Firmicutes in Tibetan chickens

Gut microbiota of animals crucially contributes to the energy metabolism and immune response of hosts. Thus, relationships between the cecal microbiome and advantages of TCs were explored in this study based on the comparisons among three populations (native TCs living in the plateau, domestic TCs living in the plain, and one native plain species).
