These seven volumes recorded the minutes of meetings of the Rural Water Commissions Board of Management. The Board of Management consisted of the General Manager of the Rural Water Commission, the Director General of the Department of Water Resources, an officer or employee of the Rural Water Commission and five others.The Board considered broad policy issues relating to the Commissions functions, such as corporate planning, financial planning and reviewing operational performance. It did not become involved in day to day administrative and operational matters, these being the province of the Commissions General Manager.
