RNA-seq profiling of C/EBPß-overexpressing myoblasts [differentiating myoblasts]

We previously identified C/EBPß as an inhibitor of myogenic differentiation and its role in muscle satellite cell's self-renewal and quiescence. C/EBPß is regulated during the transition from proliferation to differentiation in myoblasts and that overexpression of C/EBPß inhibits myocyte differentiation. To identify the molecular mechanism by which C/EBPß inhibits myogenic differentiation, we performed RNA-seq on C/EBPß-overexpressing differentiating myoblasts. Overall design: Differentiating C2C12s mRNA profiles of C/EBPß-overexpressing and empty vector myoblasts.
