RNA-seq of MV4;11 cells treated with Methyl Bestatin or Brefeldin A

We report the application of RNA-seq for profiling gene transcription upon treatment of methyl bestatin (MeBs, aminopeptidase inhibitor) or brefeldin A (BFA, ER-to-Golgi transport inhibitor), compared to DMSO control. We found MeBs and BFA similarly upregulated genes pertinent to proteotoxic stress. Examination of gene transcription levels upon treatment of MeBs or BFA in Caspase-1 (CASP1) knockout MV4;11 cells over the course of 6 hours, compared to DMSO control. 4 replicates were analyzed per sample.
