<p>3D scan of a 134 mm long core made from gray-green marl. In lithic
production, cores are the starting points, from which all subsequent
blanks (e.g. blades or flakes) are knapped off. It originated from layer
9 of the Willendorf II site in the Wachau Region in Lower Austria. It
constitutes one of the numerous artefacts found in the same site as the Venus of Willendorf.</p>
