Attitudes towards water-related issues.<br>Topics: self-rated knowledge about problems facing groundwater, lakes, rivers, and coastal waters (only in member states with coasts: IE, UK, FR, ES, PT, IT, EL, SE, FI, DK, EE, LT, LV, PL, NL, BE, CY, DE, MT, SI, BG, RO) in the own country; assessment of each of the following issues as a serious problem in the own country: water quality, floods, droughts or overconsumption of water; assessment of the quality of groundwater, lakes, rivers, and coastal waters (only in member states with coasts: IE, UK, FR, ES, PT, IT, EL, SE, FI, DK, EE, LT, LV, PL, NL, BE, CY, DE, MT, SI, BG, RO) in the own country over the last ten years; impact of each of the following on water quality and quantity in the own country: household water consumption and waste water, water overuse in agriculture, pesticides and fertilizers in agriculture, energy production, tourism, shipping; main threats to water environment in the own country; personal measures taken to reduce water problems; attitude towards charging water users the volume they use; attitude towards the dependence of the price for water on the impact of the use on the environment; attitude towards the sufficiency of actions of the following groups in the own country: households, agriculture, industry, energy producers; most effective ways of tackling water problems; attitude towards additional EU measures to address water problems; awareness of the ´Blueprint to Safeguard Europe’s Water resources´; preferred main focus of the ´Blueprint to Safeguard Europe’s Water resources´; awareness of the ´River Basin Management Plans´; participation in consultations by national authorities on the ´River Basin Management Plans´; attitude towards the use of non-potable water in certain areas; kind of used drinking water.
