Bcl11b- and GATA3-mediated gene regulation in Th2 cells

GATA3 is the master regulator for Th2 cell differentiation. Bcl11b is part of the GATA3-containing complex. To elucidate the function of Bcl11b in GATA3-mediated Th2 cell differentiation, we profiled Bcl11b and GATA3 binding to the genome by ChIP-Seq. We also assessed gene expression changes after removal of either Bcl11b or GATA3 during or after Th2 cell differentiation through RNA-Seq. These genome wide analyses allow us to systematically study the Bcl11b and GATA3 target genes and the relationship between Bcl11b and GATA3 in gene regulation in Th2 cells.
