In this dataset we include the expression data obtained by dissected prefrontal cortical tissue from sprague-dawley rats exposed to saline or valproic acid on gestation day 12.5 in utero. This data was used to obtain prefrontal cortical genes to determine sex differences in a model of autism spectrum disorder. Overall design: 20 Total samples were analyzed
