Supplementary materials and extracted dataset for: Biomechanical, metabolic and performance effects of distal lower-limb wearable resistance during running and sport-specific locomotion in cyclic-modality athletes: a scoping review

This dataset contains the supplementary materials associated with the scoping review entitled “Biomechanical, metabolic and performance effects of distal lower-limb wearable resistance during running and sport-specific locomotion in cyclic-modality athletes: a scoping review”. The review maps the available evidence on distal lower-limb wearable resistance across anatomical loading locations, locomotor modalities and outcome domains. The deposited materials include the completed PRISMA-ScR checklist, database-specific search syntax, the data-extraction template and codebook, the extracted dataset from the 42 included sources of evidence, and the detailed MMAT 2018 methodological appraisal file. These files are provided to support transparency, reproducibility and reuse of the review methods and extracted evidence.
