Data for: Heterogeneous Worker Flows and Japan's Labor Market

I collected the labor flow data from the monthly Labour Force Survey (LFS) of the Statistics Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in Japan. From the LFS, I used the results of the basic tabulation (Table I-7) from 2013Feb to 2018Dec. The URL of this database is http://www.stat.go.jp/english/data/roudou/index.htm.

I corrected the raw data by adjusting the flows using the method of the Ministry of Labour (1985). Further, I seasonally-adjust them using the X-12-ARIMA program. The TSdata.xlsx file provides this dataset.

The Simul_AGG.m conducts the counterfactual simulation in the paper. This program is for the aggregate data.
