This study investigates the operational sustainability of the Bang-Si Subdistrict Herbal Community Enterprise (BSHCE), emphasizing operational improvement and sustainable practices. The research aims to enhance operational sustainability and foster positive social impact within the enterprise and local community. Using qualitative research methods including secondary data collection and employing a thematic data analysis approach alongside a case study analysis, this study identifies key operational successes, including operational planning, positive social outcomes and technology adoption, etc., while maintaining strong community engagement.Strategic planning and stakeholder involvement are highlighted as critical factors for operational sustainability. The study also emphasizes the importance of best practices for community enterprises by using The Chao Phraya Abhaibhubejhr Hospital Foundation (CAF) as a benchmark to showcase how to enhance staff knowledge and drive enterprise development. The findings highlight the need for innovative approaches to ensure long-term sustainability and growth of the enterprise, alongside supporting local communities. By thoughtfully navigating these successes, community enterprises can become a model for sustainable business practices and community engagement.
