Comparison of macrophages that have or have not received mitochondria from adipocytes in vivo

Epididymal white adipose tissue from adipocyte-specific mitochondria reporter (MitoFat) mice was harvested, and the stromal vascular fraction was isolated. Live CD45+ F4/80+ CD64+ mtD2- and live CD45+ F4/80+ CD64+ mtD2+ macrophages were sort-purified directly into lysis buffer, followed by RNA sequencing. Overall design: mtD2- and mtD2+ eWAT macrophages were compared pair-wise from n=4 male MitoFat mice on a normal chow diet. There are a total of 8 samples.
