Bibliometric Dataset of 142 Publications on Energy Efficiency in Vertical Agriculture

This dataset contains the bibliographic records used in the study entitled "Bibliometric Analysis of Energy Efficiency Trends in Vertical Agriculture: From Technical Optimization to Environmental Sustainability." The data were retrieved from the Scopus database on 28 December 2025 using a structured search query related to vertical farming, plant factories, controlled environment agriculture, and energy efficiency. The dataset was restricted to journal articles published in English between 2020 and 2026, available as Open Access, and affiliated with institutions in Asian countries. A total of 142 documents were included and exported in CSV format for bibliometric analysis. The dataset contains bibliographic metadata, including publication titles, authors, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, source titles, citations, and publication information. The data were processed through keyword normalization and synonym unification and analyzed using VOSviewer to identify publication trends, thematic structures, and scientific collaboration patterns. This repository is provided to support research transparency, reproducibility, and future studies on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and vertical farming systems in Asia.
