Cyclostome genome analysis

Jawless fishes are expected to provide a basic understanding of biodiversity in the scope of whole Vertebrata as well as valuable clues for reconstructing the phenotypic and genotypic properties of the vertebrate ancestor. We focused on two southern hemisphere lamprey species, conducted whole genome sequencing of these two species, and have prepared to release them, besides various molecular evolutionary analyses.
