SuperEnglish/SimpleEnglish: Telemetry and Cognitive Load Dataset

Telemetry and questionnaire data from a between-subjects experiment (N = 96) comparing two functionally identical Android quiz applications: SuperEnglish (gamified, with animation, sound effects, and thematic visuals) and SimpleEnglish (plain interface, identical content and timing). The dataset contains 632 per-session telemetry logs (accuracy, hesitation, response time, pass/fail, quiz type, difficulty level) and per-participant responses to a 12-item Cognitive Load Theory questionnaire and an 8-item usability and engagement scale, together with participant demographics.
