This project investigates the transcriptional response of mouse bone marrow derived neutrophils stimulated with a recombinant Kazal type serine protease inhibitor (SsKaSPI) from Sarcoptes scabiei. Neutrophils were isolated from C57BL/6 mice and treated with recombinant SsKaSPI or appropriate control treatments. Total RNA was extracted and subjected to high throughput sequencing to characterize global changes in gene expression. The study aims to identify differentially expressed genes and enriched signaling pathways associated with SsKaSPI mediated immune modulation. The resulting dataset provides a comprehensive transcriptomic resource for understanding host parasite interactions and neutrophil regulatory mechanisms during scabies mite infection.
