资源简介:
In the olfactory system of mammals, each sensory neuron typically expresses only one out of a vast number of odorant receptor genes, a process associated with specific chromatin modifications. Due to their role in chromatin modulation and gene expression regulation, it is possible that long intergenic non-coding RNAs (lincRNAs) are involved in odorant receptor gene regulation. In this study, we used a combination of in silico and ex vivo approaches for interrogating the mouse olfactory transcriptome to identify candidate lincRNA loci and to investigate their expression and function in olfactory neurons.
