The chromosome-level Stevia genome provides insights into the steviol glycosides biosynthesis

We report the first high-quality genome assembly for Stevia rebaudiana, obtained by incorporating Illumina, PacBio and Hi-C sequencing. A total of 115 GB PacBio data were generated. Whit the help of Hi-C data, we successfully clustered 6,358 contigs into 11 pseudochromosomes and 92% of the contigs are oriented.
