Please cite this manuscript when using any of these archived contents.<br>'seqs_no_rp.fasta' contains 16S rRNA/rDNA sequences from soils along a land use change gradient in Gamba, Gabon, Africa. These represent the V3 and V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene of the DNA and cDNA amplified using the primers 319F and 806R. Data are demultiplexed, quality-filtered, trimmed fasta files with primers removed.<br>Files with naming convention '__geodist_matrix_archive.txt' are geographic distance matrices (in meters) representing the geographic distance between samples in sites g1 (plantation), g2 (burned), and g3 (forest).<br>'gamba_mapping_file_archive.txt' contains all sample metadata. <br>'otu_table_gamba_uparse_w_taxonomy_archive.txt' is an un-rarefied OTU derived from the fasta files.<br>'Rarefy_mean.R' is a function to rarefy the community matrix.<br>'soil_chemical_data_gamba_archive.txt' contains the soil chemical data for each sample (see manuscript for further details).<br><br>'Gamba_analysis_archive.Rmd' is an R script highlighting the statistical approaches that generated findings in the manuscript.<br><br><br>
