This dataset comprises daily 25 km snow density data over the terrestrial land of China, with a temporal coverage from 2013 to 2020 and a geographic extent spanning 71.97°E to 136.74°E and 16.31°N to 54.31°N. It is stored as raster data in TIF format, containing a total of 2186 TIF files. The snow density dataset was developed using ground survey data from 2017 to 2019 acquired under the National Science and Technology Basic Resources Investigation Special Project "Investigation of Snow Cover Characteristics and Distribution in China".
