A heavy metal and xenobiotic-tolerant strain of <i>Acidovorax temperans</i> strain LMJ, was isolated from a contaminated Tris-Acetate-Phosphate medium plate of a green micro-alga, <i>Chlamydomonas reinhardtii</i>. The complete genome of this bacterium was sequenced using PacBio continuous long read technology on a Sequel II machine at the Georgia Genomics and Bioinformatics core located at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA, USA).
