Replication Package for "Infrastructure, Education Spending, and Economic Growth: Absorptive Capacity Constraints on Complementarity across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America

This replication package contains all data, code, and documentation required to reproduce the empirical results reported in "Infrastructure, Education Spending, and Economic Growth: Absorptive Capacity Constraints on Complementarity across Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America." The paper estimates Pooled Mean Group (PMG) error-correction models with Dynamic Fixed Effects (DFE) robustness across 115 economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and Latin America over 1970–2023, testing whether education expenditure activates the growth returns to physical, energy, digital, and transport infrastructure. Package contents: Data: Panel dataset covering 115 countries across three regions (1970–2023), sourced from World Bank WDI, IMF IFS, and ITU. Includes all variables used in baseline and sub-sample estimations. Code: Stata do-files for PMG and DFE estimation, Hausman test, stability-regime sub-sample splits, and all robustness checks reported in the paper.
