Dataset from Development of a Secondary Prevention Intervention Targeting HIV-Positive Black Young Men Who Have Sex With Men

This study conducted formative research to develop a culturally appropriate secondary prevention intervention for HIV-positive black young men who have sex with men (B-YMSM). At two AMTU sites, a total of four focus groups guided the selection of the intervention content areas and the development of the intervention manual. The intervention aimed to address increasing engagement in HIV treatment, improving medication adherence, reducing sexual risk behaviors, reducing substance use behaviors, and increasing HIV status disclosure.\n
