The retinal transcriptome of two non-allelic forms of retinitis pigmentosa (RP) in dogs, RCD1 and XLPRA2, was analyzed at clinically relevant advanced stages of the two diseases and compared to that of adult normal dogs. Overall design: RNA-seq analysis of retina from 3 each RCD1 and XLPRA2 dogs with greater than 50% photoreceptor loss, compared to that of 3 normal adult dogs
