Canadian Gallup Poll, March 1993, #595t

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions on the upcoming election, free trade, the Progressive Conservative Party leadership race, and questions related to political party preference. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as which team will win the Stanley Cup, the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team, who would make the best Prime Minister, and television channels. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; Progressive Conservative Party; Hockey; Baseball; free trade; and political party preference. Basic demographic variables are also included.
