Urban pollinator project

This is a project whose goal was to provide the City of Iowa City, IA with information about how urban bee diversity compares across neighborhoods and public sites and how bee diversity is related to floral diversity. Pan trapping and sweep netting were adopted to collect bees in the field followed by lab observation on genus and gender. Bee diversity was correlated to floral diversity along urban-rural gradient.
