NRS-18128 | Minutes [Academic Board - Newcastle College of Advanced Education]

The Academic Board was in existence at least as early as 1969, and minutes presumably existed for the entire period of its operation.This series contains a single volume (a “Kalamazet” expandable binder) of the original minutes from the 4th February 1987 until the final meeting of the Board, before its amalgamation of the college with the University of Newcastle, held on the 4th October 1989.These are the only original minutes known to be extant, but duplicate copies of minutes from the 19th September 1980 until the 2nd December 1987 also exist and are held elsewhere in the University of Newcastle Archives.
