This study explores AI's impact on urban tourism economies, showing it enhances service quality, optimizes resources, and boosts growth via innovation and GDP increases. AI-driven smart systems and big data improve experiences, foster innovation in cultural and ecological sectors, and diversify tourism. Eastern and central cities benefit most, while western regions face infrastructure constraints. Using mediation models and double machine learning, the study validates AI's direct and indirect effects, offering insights for integrating AI into urban tourism.
