POSEIDON Input Files

This repository contains the input files required by the POSEIDON atmospheric retrieval code. The input files consist of molecular, atomic, and ionic cross sections, Mie scattering aerosol properties, model grids of stellar spectra, a chemical equilibrium grid, and a surface albedo database. See the installation instructions for the next steps after the download is complete. v1.4 Added surface albedo/reflectivity database. H2-H CIA added. v1.3.1 Updated aerosol database. He-H CIA added. DMS (C2H6S), DMDS (C2H6S2), CH3SH, and C3H4 added to the gas-phase opacity database. v1.3 No changes to the input files from v1.2. v1.2 Added a Mie scattering database of aerosol optical properties. Updated POSEIDON gas-phase opacity database. Both databases are described on a new documentation page: POSEIDON Opacity Database. v1.1 Added a chemical equilibrium grid computed with Fastchem 2. New, simplified, input file structure used by POSEIDON v1.1. One download, easier installation.
