The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) is the world's largest experimental crystallographic structure database, housing over 1.4 million validated crystal structures of small organic and organometallic molecules. Constructed based on X-ray, neutron and electron diffraction analyses, the database has been continuously maintained since 1965 and contains historical structures spanning from the 1920s to the present day. The CSD serves as a pivotal scientific resource for researchers across the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and fine chemical industries to predict and guide future scientific discoveries.
