Creation of a background map for life pools The basins of life are groupings of communes defined by INSEE as the smallest territory on which the inhabitants have access to the most common equipment and services. One of the interests of such a background map is to consider the basin of life as a spatial unit in which the environmental exposure is more uniform than within a department or a small isolated commune.
