Williamsetal_EvictMS_Rsupp_Functions_May2012.txt contains the functions for calculating the eviction measures and <i>d</i>λ as described in the text and the alternative measures of <i>d</i>λ described in the Appendix. Williamsetal_EvictMS_Rsupp_Examples_May2012.txt contains example data for <i>Anemone patens</i>, applies the eviction measures to those data, demonstrates how to solve eviction by implementing and floor and ceiling, and recreates Fig. 2E. (The <i>Anemone patens</i> data were previously published in Williams and Crone 2006 (<i>Ecology</i>).) Additional R libraries that are required are noted within the scripts. R can be downloaded for free from a CRAN site near you (CRAN=Comprehensive R Archive Network).
