Cucumis melo L. seed Raw sequence reads

Melatonin can alleviate various stresses-induced inhibition of seed germination by regulating ABA and GA interaction; however, the mechanisms involved in perceiving and signaling melatonin remain underexplored. Seeds of Cucumis melo L. were soaked in ABA solution (ABA) or mixture of ABA and melatonin (AMT) for 8 hours, and then were incubated under normal conditions. After incubation for 2days, we compared the expressions of mRNAs and proteins between ABA and AMT to profile candidate genes that are involved in melatonin antagonizing ABA and promoting seed germination.
