Title: Hybrid Cored Scalar Field Model for Galactic Rotation Curves Description: This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Hybrid Cored Scalar Field Model for Galactic Rotation Curves," submitted to Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. It introduces a revised OEPM (Oscillating Exotic Polarization Mode) framework with a tanh-cored scalar potential that successfully fits the observed rotation curves of 175 SPARC galaxies. Included files: A Jupyter notebook implementing the heuristic fitting method for OEPM, MOND, and ΛCDM models A CSV file listing reduced chi-squared results for all galaxies Plot images (histogram and scatter) illustrating model performance A README with method explanation and instructions This work shows that OEPM significantly outperforms MOND and NFW (ΛCDM) in reduced χ² across the sample. While based on approximations, the results suggest OEPM offers a promising scalar-field alternative to dark matter halos. Full parameter optimizations and lensing/stability tests are underway.
