Before factory shipment of luminaires, the Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of industrial lamps intended for German ice hockey rinks is collected to determine the luminaire's energy efficiency grade, which caters to the lighting demands of this specific scenario, guides optimized luminaire design schemes, and enhances the energy-saving performance and service life of the luminaires. 1. Data Source: Before factory shipment, finished products of industrial lamps for German ice hockey rinks are randomly sampled, and parameters including input voltage, current, luminous flux, and power factor of these luminaires are collected. 2. Data Processing (1) EEI-based energy efficiency grade analysis for luminaires using the collected parameters: EEI = P×PF/Pref = IV×PF/Pref; where P is the rated power of the luminaire, PF is the power correction factor, Pref is the reference power of the lamp, and Φ_use is the effective luminous flux of the lamp. When Φ_use < 1300 lm: Pref = 0.88√Φ_use + 0.049Φ_use; When Φ_use ≥ 1300 lm: Pref = 0.07341Φ_use. (2) The energy efficiency grade is divided as follows: Grade A++ if EEI ≤ 0.11; Grade A+ if 0.11 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.17; Grade A if 0.17 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.24; Grade B if 0.24 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.6; Grade C if 0.6 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.8; Grade D if 0.8 ≤ EEI ≤ 0.95; Grade E if EEI > 0.95. 3. Data Application: The energy efficiency index is one of the core indicators for evaluating luminaire energy efficiency. Performing equivalent analysis on luminaires before factory shipment can meet the lighting requirements of the industrial lamp application scenario for German ice hockey rinks; meanwhile, it can also provide data support for manufacturers to optimize luminaire design schemes, thereby improving the energy-saving performance and service life of the luminaires.
