Mineralogical analysis of Mars in Visible-infrared wavelength range of electromagnetic spectrum using MRO's CRISM-3

This comparison presents an overview of several minerals detected on the Martian surface from the Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) spectrometer onboard Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). Various hydrated minerals were observed. This comparison will guide and motivate the students and researchers in the field of planetary geology.
