资源简介:
This project provides the whole-genome resequencing data of Caldibacillus thermoamylovorans strain H2, a thermally adapted derivative obtained through adaptive laboratory evolution (ALE). The ancestral wild-type strain, with an optimal growth temperature of approximately 50 degrees Celsius, was subjected to long-term serial passaging at progressively elevated temperatures. This process yielded the H2 strain, capable of stable and rapid growth at 70 degrees Celsius.Sequencing was performed on the Illumina platform. The data generated in this project enables the identification of genetic mutations (such as single nucleotide polymorphisms and insertions/deletions) by comparing the H2 genome to the reference genome of its wild-type ancestor. This analysis aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying its enhanced thermotolerance and novel metabolic capabilities, providing insights for the engineering of robust industrial microbes.
