Common ethical fashion-related consumption habits 2023

The majority of consumers in Japan made an effort in adapting fashion-related ethical consumption habits as revealed in a survey conducted in October 2023. Around 45 percent of respondents stated that they tried to avoid buying too much clothing, whereas 20.4 percent repaired damaged items instead of immediately throwing them away.
