Completed Daily Meteorological Records for Operacional SMN Stations in Mexico (1991–2020)

This record contains completed (imputed) daily meteorological station series for Mexico (1991–2020) produced with MissClimatePy from the base station dataset archived in Zenodo: Antonio-Fernández et al. (2025), “Daily Meteorological Records for Operational SMN Stations in Mexico (1991–2020) with NASA POWER Co-located Variables (v1.0.0)” (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.17636066). Missing values were reconstructed using a local Random Forest approach: for each target station, a model was trained using information from its k = 20 nearest neighboring stations (distance-based neighborhood) and applied to fill missing days in the target series. The product is delivered as four large CSV files (one per variable) to support reproducible climatological analyses, benchmarking, and spatial–temporal reconstruction workflows over Mexico.
