"Water Resources Bulletin" is a comprehensive annual report that documents annual water resources, their development and utilization status, as well as key water-related information, providing timely water resources data to support macro decision-making of relevant departments. Its core contents cover: precipitation across the entire Xinjiang region, surface water and groundwater resources, water storage volume of water conservancy project facilities, total water consumption in Xinjiang (including production, ecological and domestic water), wastewater discharge categorized by industrial sectors, water quality assessment of primary and secondary river systems, flood disasters, and other relevant aspects. This dataset is sourced from the Xinjiang Water Resources Department. Leveraging dense basic hydrological monitoring sampling points, it exhibits a relatively high degree of authenticity and reliability. Such data is applicable to inter-annual scale optimal allocation and scheduling of water resources, as well as other related work.
